About Los Santos

Los Santos is the 3rd largest province in Panama and is located on the Azuero Peninsula. Los Santos is probably best known for its famous carnivals which are held each year in the province's capital of Las Tablas. Los Santos is also considered the birthplace of the national dress, the Pollera. It is an area with an abundant colonial history and many towns feature town squares with beautiful churches dating back well over 100 years. Like much of the Azuero Peninsula, Los Santos has beautiful beaches, great surfing and excellent fishing.
