With more than 1.000.000 mt2 of built projects in more than 15 countries and with a serious commitment with sustainable design and social responsibility, Zürcher has designed many projects of different scale and complexity. Our services include architectural design, master planning, landscape design, interior architecture and interior design, and our experience includes a variety of projects with a specialty in hospitality design.
Zürcher Arquitectos experience includes projects in Costa Rica such as Four Seasons Hotel at Peninsula Papagayo, Punta Islita Hotel, Dominical Hills Residences, El Silencio Lodge, among others, in which the minimum environmental impact and the conservation of available natural resources have been the premises to obtain a balance between the development of the project and the preservation of nature.
We not only worry about creating projects in balance with nature, but also we use nature to inspire our projects. Our projects’ concepts respond directly to their surroundings. The constant search for new ideas, new construction materials and new technologies are keys to the development of our projects.
The firm was founded in 1978 by the current President, Arch. Ronald Zürcher, and in 2004, Arch. Adrián Saballos joined as partner of the company. With a team of 200 highly qualified collaborators, Zürcher works with excellent experienced consultants. Our offices are located in San José, Liberia and Panama City.

DESIGN WORKSHOP
Multiple workshops lead by one senior architect, one junior architect, who with the support of a team of draftsmen, develop the concept, schematics and construction documents for each project.
INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT
A team of architects, designers and draftsmen, with knowledge of the latest concepts and trends in materials and finishes to complement the architecture of a project.
PRECONSTRUCTION DEPARTMENT
With a team of architects and engineers, this department controls the quality of all construction documents, and is also in charge of the permit process for all projects. They also give technical support in new technologies and materials, as well as in legislation, to all the design workshops.
FIELD REVIEW
This department is in charge of the construction supervision of all projects.
GRAPHIC DEPARTMENT
This department is in charge of the graphic image of the company, as well as the projects, and also handles media material and visual communication. This team is also in charge of the branding of projects.
